1988 - 2015
These years were marked by teaching art and art history in a range of different situations from elementary to college level. For 15 years, Jonathan Mann taught digital art in a high school which inspired him to experiment with the connection between art and technology. The resulting work explored a focus on the fragmentation he felt as a consequence of such a union of analog and virtual, the natural and the artificial. The looming question was what is originality, uniqueness, and ownership of images and vision.
